Your inbox,
quietly sorted. It runs itself.
Sortwell files receipts, sweeps the noise, and keeps real mail in view. It learns from how you file, and it never permanently deletes or sends.
This week
Up to dateFilters break. The noise creeps back. The mail that matters gets lost.
You unsubscribe, you build filters, and a month later your inbox looks the same. Real client and vendor mail is buried under newsletters, receipts you will need at tax time are scattered everywhere, and you are the one keeping it all straight. Sortwell takes it off your plate, quietly, in the background.
The safe kind of automation.
Most inbox tools can delete, send, or lock you in. Sortwell only adds and removes labels. That is the whole promise.
Never permanently deletes
Sortwell files and labels. It only sends a sender to Trash if you teach it to — and Trash is recoverable for ~30 days, with one-click undo. Nothing is ever permanently erased.
Never sends
No auto-replies, no outbound mail, ever. Sortwell reads and sorts. It does not write on your behalf.
Always reversible
Every run is logged. One click puts any message back exactly where it was. Try it, undo it, no risk.
Connect once. It sorts the obvious. You teach the rest.
From the first run, Sortwell handles the clear-cut mail automatically and leaves anything it's unsure about for you. Everything it does is one-click reversible.
Connect your Gmail
Secure sign-in with Google. You can revoke access anytime from your Google account, and Sortwell asks for the least it needs.
It sorts the obvious, automatically
From the very first run, Sortwell files receipts and sweeps the clear newsletters and notifications on its own — your inbox is lighter in minutes, not after an afternoon of clicking. Every move is one-click reversible.
You teach the tricky bits
Anything Sortwell isn't sure about, it leaves in your inbox and gathers in one place. Tell it once where that mail belongs and it remembers — so the list only ever gets shorter.
It learns the way you already file.
Drag an email to a folder in your normal Gmail, and Sortwell notices. No rules to write, no training screens. The more you use your inbox the way you always have, the smarter it gets, and the less you ever touch it.
It is the one thing every set-and-forget tool should do, and almost none of them do it the way you actually work.
Built for the mail a small business actually gets.
Not generic "important vs later." Sortwell understands the difference between a receipt, a real vendor, and a newsletter.
Receipts, filed automatically
Every order, invoice, and receipt lands in one place. Tax time stops being a scavenger hunt.
Real people stay front and center
Customers and vendors are flagged and kept visible, never swept away. When Sortwell is not sure, it leaves the message right where you will see it.
Newsletters swept
Out of the inbox, into a Read-later folder. Still there when you want them.
One job, many inboxes
Connect every Gmail account you run and manage them all from one calm dashboard.

The questions everyone asks first.
Does it ever delete my email?
Not on its own. Sortwell files and labels — it never permanently deletes. You can teach it to send a specific sender's mail to Trash, but that's recoverable (Gmail keeps Trash for about 30 days) and one-click undoable. There is no permanent-delete button, by design.
Will it send email on my behalf?
Never. Sortwell has no ability to send, reply, or forward. It reads and sorts. That is the entire job.
What if it files something in the wrong place?
Every run is logged and one click puts a message back exactly where it was. And when Sortwell is not confident, it leaves the email in your inbox rather than guessing, so the mail that matters never disappears.
Do you read or store my emails?
We use the minimum needed to sort: sender, subject, and labels. We do not store the contents of your messages, we never sell or share your data, and we never use it to train AI models.
How do I disconnect?
Revoke access in your Google account at any time, or delete your Sortwell account with one click and your data is removed. No lock-in, no hoops.
A calm inbox is two minutes away.
Connect your Gmail and watch Sortwell sort the noise, surface what matters, and learn as you go. Nothing is ever permanently deleted, and you can undo anything.
